The clay stabilizer is synthesized from gemini-type organic polyquaternary ammonium salts. It is an additive used to inhibit the swelling of clay when it comes into contact with water and the migration of clay particles during the oil and gas well exploitation operation. It has the characteristics of good clay stabilization effect and long-lasting stability, and plays a significant role in consolidating the formation treatment effect. It has a good anti-swelling effect, strong resistance to water washing, and a strong inhibitory ability against the swelling of clay minerals. It has good compatibility and is widely used in various acid fracturing fluid systems.
