Chengdu LEPS Technology Co., Ltd., established in December 2014, is backed by leading investors including CNPC Kunlun and Sinopec. We specialize in the research and application of key technologies for stimulation of unconventional resources such as shale oil and gas, tight oil and gas, and coalbed methane. Our high-performance oilfield chemicals and technical services are widely used across major oil and gas fields operated by CNPC, Sinopec, and CNOOC.
In 2023, LEPS achieved a revenue of 507 million CNY, with total assets reaching 880 million CNY by year-end. The company now operates six wholly owned subsidiaries. As of November 30, 2024, we employ 437 full-time staff, including 113 dedicated to R&D. Among them, 18% hold master's degrees or above, and 42% hold bachelor's degrees, ensuring our strong technical foundation and commitment to innovation.
The company partners with Southwest Petroleum University (12 researchers: 92% master/PhD holders, 70% with 1+ years overseas experience), Chengdu Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chengdu University of Technology, and Sichuan University of Science & Engineering on shale oil/gas extraction R&D.
To boost core technology R&D and innovation capacity, the company has invested over RMB100 million in R&D over four years (averaging >9% annually) and secured five provincial-level R&D projects.
The company currently possesses a professional laboratory covering an area of over 3,500 square meters, equipped with more than 300 sets of experimental and testing equipment.
The company has 113+ R&D staff led by a National Leading Talent awardee, with 6 PhDs/postdocs and 46 masters comprising 46% of the team.
