Temporary Plugging Ball

T-PLUG™B

Temporary Plugging Ball

This product is a new type of borehole plugging tool for oil reservoir exploitation, mainly made of special water-soluble polymer materials. This material has good solubility, plugging performance and a certain degree of strength. It can function in a specific oil reservoir environment, and can dissolve on its own after completing the plugging task, avoiding secondary pollution to the oil reservoir.

Characteristics

Good solubility: The dissolution time ranges from a few hours to several days, meeting the time requirements of various complex oil reservoir operations

Excellent plugging performance: It can effectively plug the boreholes, guiding the subsequent injected fluid to enter the low-permeability layers and improving the overall exploitation efficiency of the oil reservoir

Environmentally friendly and pollution-free: Using water-soluble materials, there will be no solid substances remaining in the oil reservoir after dissolution. It is friendly to the formation environment, reducing the cost of subsequent pollutant treatment and the potential environmental risks

Application

Temporary plugging in fracturing operations: It temporarily plugs the fractured high-permeability layers to guide the fracturing fluid into other intervals that have not been fully stimulated

Leakage control in workover operations: It can quickly block the leakage channels to prevent a large amount of workover fluid from leaking, ensuring the smooth progress of the workover operation
