Adaptive 2D Temporary Plugging Agent

T-PLUG™2D

Adaptive 2D Temporary Plugging Agent

This product is a type of high-efficiency temporary plugging material developed based on advanced materials science and technology. Its core components include polyester materials with a special two-dimensional structure, etc. These two-dimensional materials, with their unique sheet-like structure and excellent physical and chemical properties, can quickly form bridges during the plugging operation of large fractures in fields such as oil reservoir exploitation and construction engineering. This reduces the usage amount of conventional temporary plugging agents and lowers the operation cost.

Characteristics

Good flexibility and adaptability: It has excellent flexibility and can adaptively deform in pores of different shapes and sizes. It can closely adhere to the pore walls, achieving all-round plugging without any blind spots

Good solubility: It can dissolve within a specific temperature range and causes no harm to the reservoir

Size variability: The size can be customized according to the width of the fracture and the needs of customers

Application

Temporary plugging and redirection in fracturing operations: When used in combination with conventional temporary plugging agents, it forces the fracturing fluid to change its flow direction and create new fractures, thus increasing the reservoir's stimulated volume and the oil and gas recovery rate

Sand control and plugging in oil wells: It works synergistically with other sand control materials. During the filling process, it forms a stable bridging structure between the sand grains, preventing the migration of formation sand
